Irrigation Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated irrigation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance, repairs and installation for irrigation services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in irrigation maintenance and installation.

Regular Job duties will include:

  • Install, repair and maintain irrigation systems

  • Manage and change watering schedules

  • Adjust heads as necessary to provide optimal coverage

  • Perform system activations and winterizations with compressed air

  • Keep accurate records of system repair activities on a per job/daily frequency

  • Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues as needed

  • Ability to keep inventory

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous commercial irrigation installation/maintenance experience a must (1 year minimum) (2-4+ years preferred)

  • Knowledge of common irrigation system control boxes, valves, back flows, etc

  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, install, activate and winterize various irrigation system types

  • Able to lift 50+ pounds

  • High attention to detail and safety consciousness

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Able to work occasional weekends, if necessary due to weather delays

  • Valid Missouri (Class E) drivers license with clean driving history

  • Must be 18+ and legally able to work in the United States.

  • Missouri Back-flow certification

  • Able to work in extreme weather conditions in peak summer and winter months

Salary: Starting at $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Overtime

  • Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

  • Missouri Back-Flow Certification (required).

  • Driver’s License (Required)
